What is a Certificate of Origin, and when is it required for international shipments?

Modified on Thu, 2 Nov, 2023 at 8:16 PM

A Certificate of Origin is a document that certifies the country where the goods were produced. It may be required for certain shipments to determine eligibility for preferential trade agreements or to satisfy customs regulations. Check with the customs authorities of the destination country to determine if a Certificate of Origin is needed.

You may find the links to the respective custom authorities of the destination countries in Janio's logistics network here
